    Canines Strut Their Stuff

Canines struttin' their stuff? A neighborhood parade? Those two parts of this poem sparked my curiosity. What might that look like? Maybe the sun is shining down on a fun little morning in this neighborhood. Owners and their dogs struttin' down the street as the day starts to unfold. The sun maybe is smiling, some music can be heard coming from one of the houses. A truck pulls up to deliver some new furnishings to one.

When the curiosity engines are flipped on, it's not hard to build li'l universes of whimsical fun within the confines of your mind. That's where I usually find myself when creating art. This li'l neighborhood parade was a fun spot to visit on the map of imagination.

    From the Fog

This poem really jumped out at me. Specters, ancient drums, and dancing?! How could one not want to illustrate that? Creating worlds of whimsy is always a fun time when there are specters involved. It was great trying to figure out how to tie it back to our region.
