    So Many Books Here

Visiting the library is like visiting a friend. When my sister and I moved to Syracuse after graduating college, we had to adjust from living in small towns. Soon enough, though, I discovered the Central Library downtown. I was impressed to see so many books in such a large space! I came to the realization that libraries grant a great freedom—to read about any number of topics from a myriad of different perspectives.

The librarians who work at libraries here in Central New York, too, were and are always helpful to anyone looking for books or resources.

My haiku expresses my excitement about reading books and captures the sense of awe one might get from being surrounded by such vast amounts of knowledge in a library.
