    Poet

    A Quarter

Phone booths were unique small spaces – each and every one of them could tell its own tale. They heard so many stories from different people: hilarious and heartbreaking news, casual chats and the most profound conversations. And among them, there were also… love confessions. Maybe made with a trembling voice and a sweaty hand holding the handset.

In many cases, all that was needed was a quarter. And a quarter-century is a beautiful jubilee that the Syracuse Poster Project is celebrating with the 2026 series, in which I have the pleasure to participate with my poem.
