    A Day at the Fair

Of the poems I chose, this one stuck out to me as the one that I was most excited to do. It had a humor to it and really hit upon what it's like to be at the State Fair during the heat of August. Everybody is there and it's crowded, and there's a ton of things to see and do.

I think that's why I liked this haiku so much. I could relate to that moment when you suddenly realize you've lost the group you are with because you were distracted.

When it came to the actual work, I just knew that I wanted to have fun with the characters and play with a warmer color palette. Overall it was a pleasure from start to finish.
