I love the way that the Syracuse Poster Project highlights the things that make this city such a unique place to live. When I wrote this haiku, I was reflecting on some of my favorite Syracuse moments. What came to mind was Friday afternoons at the Middle Ages Brewery, the way the taproom fills up with beer lovers from all over the city, coming in to socialize, taste some beers, and maybe pick up a growler to start their weekend. It's a great atmosphere.

I've been writing as a hobby for a long time, but this is the first time I've submitted for publication. I think the Syracuse Poster Project is a really positive addition to our community, and it's something I'm really excited to be participating in.
